CIS 146 -- MICROCOMPUTER APPLICATIONS (3 SH) -- PREREQUISITE: As required by program. This course is an introduction to the most common software applications of microcomputers and includes "hands-on" use of microcomputers and some of the major commercial software. These software packages should include typical features of office suites, such as word processing, spreadsheets, database systems, and other features found in current software packages. Upon completion, students will understand common applications and be able to utilize selected features of these packages.

SCT 100 - Introduction to Microcomputers (1-4-3) Introduces the fundamental concepts and operations necessary to use microcomputers. Emphasis is placed on basic functions and familiarity with computer use. Topics include computer terminology, introduction to keyboarding, introduction to the Windows environment, introduction to networking, introduction to word processing, introduction to spreadsheets, and introduction to databases. Prerequisite: Provisional admission

CIS 130- This course is an introduction to computers that reviews computer hardware and software concepts such as equipment, operations, communications, programming and their past, present, and future impact on society. Topics include comuter hardware, various types of computer software, communication technologies and program development using computers to execute software packages and/or to write simple programs. Upon completion, students should be able to describe and use the major components of selected computer software and hardware.

I've tried everything I can to view PNG images. I've looked at similar questions' answers, but none of those have helped.

My firewall is not blocking it. (I disabled it to make sure)

My quicktime isn't over-riding it, I don't think....?? (I read a thing about it,... but I couldn't find the IE preferences)

And I've tried other ways too... but I'm willing to retry them if they show up. I'm thinking that maybe the other ways were outdated, especially since I had to use different ways than they stated to get to certain places (like... options).

Thanks for your help!

Is there a good book or site that teaches CSS and Photoshop web design process?
I design a nice page in Photoshop but need to know how to put it into dreamweaver using css to position everything, to put text all over the page, put flash, etc. I need a step by step tutorial how to create a page like this http://www.veoh.com/. I can design it in Photoshop easily but need help using Dreamweaver 2004MX and CSS to position what I designed in Photoshp and fill up the page with text, links, etc. Here are two more examples of pages http://www.nba.com/ and http://www.gamespot.com/. Public static int [] remove (int[] a, int[] b)

For example, if the array a is {5,3,2,7,1} and the array b is {8,2,5} the remove method should return the array {3,7,1}.

The method should function properly for arrays of any lengths.

Did you ever notice that some web pages are like this: http://www.webpage.com/example/
but others are like this:
http://www.webpage.com/example.html
What is the difference and how can I make my webpage be like the first example. When I try to make it like the first example it doesn't work without the .html or .htm at the end. Help? Thanks!

Extra Info:
i have 'Loyalty' and 'Credit' fields which are both ints. And i do have a constructer which has parameter values set to 20 for credits and 30 for credits.

I am about to take a CS course offered by UIUC.
As decribed, this course "Examines the logical organization of databases: the entity-relationship model; the hierarchical, network, and relational data models and their languages. Functional dependencies and normal forms. Design, implementation, and optimization of query languages; security and integrity; concurrency control, and distributed database systems."

I know hardware and offen use software (like Vista, office XP quicken and Photoimpact, etc). But , i have never programmed. A man who specializes in CS told me to study "C" and the prereq of that course first, and then take only that course in the next semester beginning in the January next year.

I bought a C# book and i did not know that was C sharp and the advance level of C. I have no diffculty reading it. Can I skip C and start out with C# as having no CS background.

$_SERVER[REMOTE_ADDR] gets just the gateway IP address. For instance, an organization can have 10000 PCs connected to a LAN, sharing internet. All the PCs will have the same gateway IP address. So banning $_SERVER[REMOTE_ADDR] is not effective as it will ban all the users within the LAN. Are there any methods to solve this problem?

Super simple....at least I think.
If I want to change the spacing, how do I do that?
Also, the margins are a bit messed up, I'm typing a research paper and our professor only gave us the definition of 'standard' margins. What are standard margins and how do I change it to that?

It's version 2003, if that helps.
I'm not a very computer-ical person, as you may have noticed.


And I'm asking it here because nobody answered in software....I know, I need to give it time but I believe these are pretty simple questions.

I have the following code and this is returning the rows correctly, however, when a location does not have any items to display, it should export the "No Rides" in the table row and it is not, any ideas?
