Want to buy a new Vista laptop pc but hope to reload old progs MS Office & MS Monet

You can use the older versions (Office 2003, XP and 2000) with Vista. I have not tried Money, but can not think of a reason why it would not work.

MS office and money should load and work just fine on Vista.

No No No. Only Office 2007 works with vista. Stay with XP Pro save yourself the headache. I'm a PC pro with ten years experience. Saty with XP. If you go with vista, you'll be back on here asking for help and how to get back to xp
