right this is a long one, i have made my nan a cd of pictures with music using windows movie maker, unfortunatley not many burners support the file type but i found this on movie maker forums
"You save your movie (File > Save Movie File) to your computer. You can click on 'show more options' then 'Other' and save in numerous WMV resolutions or in DV-AVI.
Once you have your movie file (not the project file), if you are burning to a DVD, your DVD authoring software will do the conversion for you to MPEG-2 automatically when you choose a video DVD. Otherwise you will have to find other software to convert the WMV/AVI into MPEG.
-=Blaine=-" so i have now done this and saved it as dv-avi.
i have 2 discs in front of me a DVD-R and a CD-R, so do i now need to convert that dv-avi file to something else using a converter and if so what?? and also which cd/dvd do i need to use so that my nan can play the whole thing on her new dvd player my mum has just got her for xmas?
THANKS.X
