I want to change my name as it appears when I send/receive IM's.?

sorry, was asking for a friend. It was yahoo (forgot to add that) and we ended up finding it but thanks guys for your help

What program? For yahoo messenger, open My Contact Details under the Messenger tab and you can enter your name their or a nickname. Is that what you mean?

For AIM, click "My AIM"

then "Edit Options"

then "Format Screen name".
