I am trying to use a webform to post data to my MySQL database. I have all of this set up on my website that is hosted on yahoo. I have php MyAdmin installed on the server to manage the database. For some reason, I can't get my webform to post the info to my database. Can anyone help?

For example:

Say there was a file: www.testpage.com/file.txt
And I wanted to download "file.txt" to my computer.

What classe(s) and lines of code do I use?

Or better yet, do you know of an online tutorial that can explain this to me in detail?

Apparently according to a job survey my personality is best suited to this role. But "Computer Systems Analyst" is still very generalised I wondered what kind of jobs are out there and what they do specifically. I wondered what qualifications I need to start in this role, only interested in U.K. recognised qualifications as this is where I live. Cheers for all your help :)

I am programming in visual c/c++, using C not c++, and I have written a program that calls a file I input into it. When I run the program I have it asking what file I want to input but I would like to change this so I tell it that file when I call the program from the command prompt.

Ex. C:\Documents and Settings\user>program.exe file

if someone could help me out with that it would be very appreciated.

I have installed J2SE 5.0 Update 7 nad Java EE 5 on my system. I have set the PATH as 'c:\jdk1.5.0_07\bin'. The compiler is working smoothly, so is appletviewer. But the application launcher command 'java' is raising an exception as java.lang.UnsupportedClassLoaderError. The command javac -version shows the correct version of jdk, while the command java -version shows an earlier version of java. This is the first time java is installed on my system.
