how do i ping a specific URL to yahoo on a Mac?

Open your network utility or search for it in spotlight, once opened select the ping option at the top of the network window, then type the url or network address, then it will test it. if this doesn't work try the apple site for help.

Goto your applications folder, got into utilities, double click to open "network utility". Select the ping tab and enter the site you want to ping
