Mine is bi-polar. No kidding. I'm going to shut it down now and force it to think about what it's done.

(Can't think of the name right now) but it's like the computer thinks it's superior and does what it wants, sometimes doesn't obey the commands I type in.

[No I'm Not]
(see what I mean?)

I'm really not positive it's the computer itself: have a gut feeling there's a little guy in there who controls everything. Try sprinkling a crushed Prozac over the entire computer...that certainly calmed this dude down! Or, maybe the problem isn't the computer at all..... and that I'm the "Schizophrenic"?!

I love this question! :)

I haven't had my current computer long enough to diagnose it. It seems to have some kind of anxiety disorder.

There's a Rose Is Rose cartoon strip about the computer having social phobia, becoming so anxious it freezes up and its anxiety is mistaken for unfriendliness. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the exact cartoon

Mine would have to be schizophrenic or either bi-polar because one day it asks totally normal and the next day it acts like it has some warped virus or something.

Mine is diagnosed by me as being old and slow and does not always seem to understand or remember commands. I believe it to be senility with a touch of dementia, but I treat it with love anyway. I am used to it and really don't want to spend money on a newer model yet.
