Being and MCSE professional, my leaning is towards Vsual Basic, C+ or C++ is good, Python and some of the newer languages are well looked into, if you are interested in more internet or webpage work, PERL and HTML are helpful.

I would recommend you find out what you need to know, and then focus on thoses, the extras can be done over time and do come in handy

There are lots of programming languages...
But make sure that u master the basic programming language C and C ++. These will be the platform for the other language.
Its like learing to ride the cycle, once u know how to ride it riding a bike is much more easier than learing...

If you *REALLY* want to make loads of bucks - learn COBOL.

Yes, seriously, COBOL, even though it's considered an old dead language. Lots of places still have a lot fo COBOL around, their own programmers have retired, and nobody learns it because C# and Visual Basic are the rage.....

Moral of the story: "Most marketable" doesn't mean as much as "one that lets you write programs you want to be writing".

i might might have reported c++c if we had lived 5-7 years in the past. yet in the present day there are extra useful ideas. a sturdy language in the beginning, just to get the belief could be "python" After so you might to apply "Java" or "C#". the ease of those languages, is the wealthy API they provide, and the reality that they are what's stated as "controlled" meaning that this methodology does the countless difficult artwork for you. as quickly as you have tried a sturdy controlled language, you cant circulate back.. So we could summerize: - start up with an elementary elementary script language like python. - once you get the draw close of it try "Java" or "C#" - attempt to sidestep cpascal once you start up. in case you somewhat need to understand them, do it later.
