Other - Internet

The site I found with the best cards was AmericanGreetings.com but they make you sign up for a "free" account requiring a credit card - which gets charged after a month if you don't cancel. Every other site I found via google had lame cards.

Do you know of any good free sites?

my comp used to be able to get on the internet but now its having problems. Normally, i just plug in the internet cord(not usb) from me modem into the computer but now, when i open Internet explorer, it just sits there and then displays an error message. i ran the diagnose test, and it said that it restored connections to the internet, but when i refresh the page, i still come up with an error.

i have kaperskys internet security 6.0, spybot - search n destroy, and ccleaner and ran tests with all of them but nothing came up. i also tested to see if my nintendo wii could access the internet via the internet cord and it worked, so i know its a prob w/ the comp.

rite now im forced to use some random person's wireless connectional to get on internet but i don't have good reception, so i can't even play halo pc or nothing.

please help! i don't know what else to do!

Advertisements start just poping up to my window even if I don't use IE,, this has never happened before. I have the AVG, Awido anti spy , but I don't know how to stop it. when I left my computer on , more than 20 ads poped up . This is annoying .HELP!!!!

At first I noticed it on myspace and I figured ok well that sometimes happens on myspace, it happens on almosty every site I go on now. Like theres an ad it usually says for dating in your area or something with a naked/half naked girl. I thought they were actual ads until they became fully naked instead of half naked. I was just on disney.com and there was an ad of a fully naked girl touching herself. I dont know why its doing this but its ridiculous. Does anyone know whats wrong and how I can fix it? Its really discusting and I know thats not meant to happen. =[

I am looking at the acer computer that is 400 bucks at walmart. How do I tell if it is able to have a wireless connection or if i can add what i need for it to do this. All we do is play on pogo and talk to a few friends on the computer. We want to do this when away from home and check emails. Is this laptop ok and hook up to wireles in the hotel or other places?

Which one would you go with? I would go with both but sometimes im just to lazy to start up a new browser and start off where i left off in firefox >.< Even tho firefox is more secure and most people use it, most websites ( I would say force) you to use IE7 or you get a weird prompt in Firefox or the website just dosnt work at all. And honestly i think IE7 is just a tad better then fireofx just for the convience of everything but firefox is well..better...in everything. sometimes i wonder if Micosoft would merge with (Dont knwo the developers of Firefox) and make something like Internet fox.. lol..Which would prob end up being the most Buggiest browser known to man. (sorry for all the errors i decided to rush type this)

I tried signing up but it runs very slowly and jerkily, and the Orientation Island doesn't seem very well structured - it was quite difficult to find some of the mandatory tutorials. Is it worth persisting?

I keep getting a pop up that says an error has occurred and firefox must close now. please send an error report to microsoft.
I keep getting that and as soon I hit don't send the screen closes. So I tried hitting the send button it send the report but it closes and I don't no whats wrong. The same things happens with my MSN internet but when I hit the don't send or send it doesn't close it just freezes for about 5 seconds then goes back to normal. What do you think MIGHT be wrong?

Ok...im about to make a big $1500 investment on a laptop on ebay. (its a really good deal)
However, is there any other insurance that i wont get screwed over other then the feedback system? The guy has a really good feedback...but that isnt enough for me. Does ebay or paypal offer any kind of insurance if i dont receive the laptop?

i got the idea how to go wireless now on laptop thanks for coming through on that, guys. i live in philadelphia,pa and after trying the internet for a plan, dunno and have no idea what plan to use. cell carriers have them, comcast has them, verizon i hear is a pain, any ideas. i got 2 weeks to come up with a plan. help? i am going to a house with no tv and no internet. any ideas?
