Firefox can be removed with the Windows Add/Remove Programs applet in the control panel. When you remove the program this way, your user profile (which contains your bookmarks and history among other info) may not be removed. If you know you're never going back to Firefox, and you want the hard drive space back, the default location for the profile (in XP) is C:\documents and settings\application data\mozilla Delete the directory and you're through with firefox.
As other users have pointed out, you can continue to use IE with Firefox. In fact, for sites that don't work well with Firefox, there are two useful addons that allows you to easily view easily with IE. IETab lets you view sites with IE from a firefox tab and IE view forwards the web page you're viewing to IE. Both work from right clicks on the web page you're viewing, and both are at http://addons.mozilla.org
IE Tab is here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419
and IE View here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/35
Try these addons out before you give up on Firefox.

Simply follow these steps:
1) Open your Windows Control Panel;
2) Select Add/Remove Programs;
3) Select Mozilla Firefox in the list, and select Remove.
Personally, you should try to live with the small graphical drawbacks of Firefox. It is much more secure than IE.
Good luck.

Hi there...you could try going through your add/remove programs option under the control panel and find the program and remove it..that's how i got rid of the yahoo toolbar...you could also go into your main hard drive and delete it from the programs folder...or worst case senario you could save what you need to another hard drive and reformate the hard drive that firefox is installed on...then reinstall internet explorer....

after doing the add/remove uninstall like normal, do a search with the following settings for the terms, "mozilla" and "firefox"
search in hidden files, search system files
remove every firefox file and reinstall a previous version. also, FEBE5.0 does not work properly for backing up addons/etc, so manually back them up prior to uninstalling firefox.

Assuming you're using Windows XP, just double click on "My Computer", click on "Add or Remove Programs" under the System Tasks menu on the left, find Mozilla Firefox on the list, then click Remove.

You should just be able to use IE7 or whatever you use other than Firefox. You just uninstall Firefox by going to control panel and then to programs and software. But I would recommend you stick with Firefox, it just works!

I don't know what OS you have, but from Windows control panel you can uninstall programs. You can get Internet Explorer, if you don't still have it on your computer, from the link below.
