My friend's dad put a computer thing on his compute rtha tway it only limits his internet acess from 5-9, please help me out, what can he do to bypass this. the internet service is verizon and the browser is firefox.

I am looking for freeware or some other way to download only a part of a file -audio or video- and then watch or hear the same.

Normally even when you use a download manager with "RESUME" facility, the part which is downloaded already cannot be run as it is. You have to complete the download before you can view, hear or see the file.

But sometimes, if the file is too large you may just like to download a small part and see if it is worthwhile downloading the full file. Or sometimes, you just want to download a part as a sample.

Can anyone suggest a solution?

I recently purchased an item on beay. I had my old address attached to my account. After i completed and confirmed that i purchased the item (buy it now), i changed my account to my new address. This is before i paid for the item. I have not piad for the item yet. Will it be sent to my new address or old one?

The ABC full episode page. I can not get the links for the shows. The page loads but the links are not active. Please read carefully. I have already done everything I have listed.
Not in any particular order. ( I have done them soooo many times I can't keep up anymore, and I am sure I have forgotten some other things that I have tried.
1. Uninstalled old versions of Move Media.
2. Gone to movenetworks and Installed Move media.
3. Enable javascripts.
4. Allowed pop ups.
5. Restarted Firefox.
6. Completely shut down and rebooted.
7. Tried to view in Internet explorer and did all of the above.
8. Reset the computer to the original settings.

What have I missed??
I just started having this problem since they switched to Move media. I was fine with the other player.

I sold my first Ebay item yesterday, but I don't know how to mark it as shipped. I do not want to use Paypal to print shipping labels as I have already paid through the post office. The only option it is giving me to mark it as shipped is to print the labels. How do I mark it as shipped without paying for more labels?

I have Firefox and I don't need IE anymore. I uninstall it but it's still there and it's so annoying because when I click the little e-mail icon on Yahoo Messenger IE opens up instead of Firefox. What can I do to get rid of it for good?

Like how they do at schools when you try to access it, you encounter the message saying something like "access denied. Administrator settings active" or something like that!!! Ok I have a Laptop, there for I also have wireless internet, My older brother set eveything up. He was the one that made the password and everything. The problem is i have a PSP and I want to get on the internet on it and i need that password, but my brother doesnt remeber what it is. So how do I get the password? I'm at a university and I am very dependent on wireless internet for the most part. I have a 7 month old HP Pavillion dv6000 and for the past 6 1/2 months, the wireless internet has worked fine and then suddenly for the past couple weeks or so, I am unable to get any signal. My wireless card is in, my wireless "assistant" is on and yet I am unable to obtain any networks while other people in the same room (most with older laptops) are able to get a signal. What do you think the problem is?
