A cookie is a small text file written to your computer by a website, they usually contain information like your name, so that the website can read it back and say "Hello Amanda", another common thing is to write your timezone to a cookie to put the time on your site (a practice I never really understood since there's a clock on the computer already).
Tools>internet options>Privacy Tab, then moving the slider to "medium" should be enough to allow the appropriate cookies through.
You can generally only access cookies written by your domain, but a company called DoubleClick has found an ingenius (like infamous;-)) way to get around that problem by writting a pixel from their servers onto websites, they use it to gather a wide array of information and create profiles, but they don't use names; however, they did try to acquire a company last year that would let them match names to profiles.

Cookies are webpages, or useless files. When cookies are not deleted they can make your computer very slow.
Ok, here are the steps to removing them:
1. Tools
2.internet Options
3. ( A window should pop up, and there should be something that says "Browsing History". Browsing History contains cookies.) Click Delete...
And there ya go!

Cookies are messages that web servers pass to your web browser when you visit Internet sites. You can remove them by going to:
1. Tools
2. Internet Options
3. Delete Cookies
You may need to allow cookies to access myspace. You can change your security settings in this same panel. I hope this helps!
