Google

I added gmail to my account. I am using FIrefox browser. Now even though I have deleted gmail off my computer and deleted the gmail account as well. I also made my thunderbird account as the default mail account and it STILL comes up when I click on a link to open gmail. How in the world do you get rid of this crazy gmail and not have it as a pain in the ,,,you know.

My daughter wants to sign up for Google Ad Sense, but she has to use my name, and I have SSD. Will that effect my SSD if it shows that I'm getting money? But it's for my daughter though.

If he look at satellite view it appears fine, as he zooms out it will turn into a toilet seat :)

There is very overwhelming information on the internet and I would like to know of legitimate sites that will not charge me to learn this information. I'm looking to get into website design to start a new career at home. Since being a part of "reduction of force" I'm left to figure out something new. With 3 small children I would like to continue to stay home and make a living. Any information anyone can provide that would help me understand a world that seems so complicated would be deeply appreciated. I know I can learn it I'm just overwhelmed with the lingo. They show the city from a distance but when you get closer, you get no details like in the other cities. Is there a way to suggest a city to them???

It seems like every time I google something, the first result is an about.com site. It always sounds informative, but every time I'm talked into clicking on it, it's very little info and a bunch of links that take you to more very little info and a bunch of links. I never find what I'm looking for on this site. Am I the only one who hates this site, or are there similarly frustrated people out there?

in google earth many areas are nicely hi-res satallite pics that enable you to see in good detail and area down to streets, homes and cars on the road. but many areas on google earth where there are popuated areas have crappy resolution, cant make out deatial between houses and streets

i went on a road trip from my home in Indiana to Ithaca NY and planned it out by previewing the highways on google earth but once the images croosed half way into new york state (central NY) i could no longer see but a blur, any ideas why or is google still working to cover the whole earth with deatailed hi-res pics

I am trying to create a map using google map. When I print out the map it gives me a list of all my address and my notes but doesn't show which pinpoint it goes with. How do you make the pinpoint print out with the other details? Anyone know? thanks

I have created a free webpage in sitemaker, but after weeks its still not found in google search engine. Do all sites take this long? (Free with sponcer ads or paid for). Pardone my ignorance but surley it would be almost instant (Unless a little man has to proof read every site!. If I was in business I would be worried by now.

Before when I used to use google, it would open the search results and when I would click on a result it would open in the SAME tab. Now it opens in a separate tab, and I don't want that. I want google results to open in the same tab, as well as when a result when I click it. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
