Anything between 1 day and never.
It all depends upon how good your site is - how well constructed, unique and interesting and how many incoming links from other similar indexed sites. It's called SEO.

There are too many factors involved to be able to predict when a new site will get indexed by Google. If you have a new site, just tell Google that it exists:

http://www.google.com/addurl/?continue=/addurl

It will get indexed at some point provided that nothing about your site prevents the crawler/indexer from reading it successfully.
