Yes. Top of Screen
Tools
Internet Options.

You can clear searches & files here.
But, ALL hard drives store some information on sites visited, no matter what you do.

Also, if you have Google Toolbar, open it & the bottom right of the list of searches, you will see 'Clear History'.

This depends if you mean deleting your history from your own browser; or if you mean deleting the record Google keeps. You can clear your browser history; but you cannot erase your tracks.

How you delete the history depends whether you use Firefox or IE.

Firefox is better in this regard. Under Tools you have an option to 'clear private data'. Simply select the items you want to clear; history, cookies, passwords, etc. and 'delete'. It takes <10 seconds to do this in Firefox.

In IE7 the process is almost as simple. Go to Tools > Internet options > Browsing History and select the individual item you want to clear (or select all). Takes approx. 10 seconds.

Older browsers are more complicated. The best option is to upgrade to Firefox or IE7 and also clear all your temporary files using a disk clean up.

If you want Google to clear all records of your search activity, I suggest writing to your politician and getting a good lawyer.

Yes, there's a way:

Click Tools at the top of your Internet screen
Click on Internet Options
Click on the Content tab
Under the Autocomplete section, click on Settings
Uncheck Forms then click OK.
Now, look for a button that says Delete Forms or something.
