is this external hard drive a good thing too buy do you think there will be any problem using this my computer is verry new only 1 month old
i have 4 gb ram and a 500gb hard drive and a 512 mbr Graphics card running windows xp . pro . will i have any problem with this if i buy it ?

I had saved a lot of my work in folder, which made it easy to email.
Fortunately I have hard copies of them, or can remember them, but I cannot understand why most of sent message folder seems to have disappeared

When I go to my favorite search (google ) it comes up quick no problem, but when I try to search for anything it takes forever? The other s like yahoo, MSN and the rest are just fine. Is it something in the settings or with the server or search engine or what? Is there anything I can do to get my favorite search page back to normal?

When ever I type something into ANY search box, my computer will save it into it's memory? (I guess) Like if yesterday I type in " wikipedia" into the yahoo search engine. The next day I will press "w" into the yahoo search engine, and underneath the yahoo search engine will be a list of "w" words I have already typed the search engine previously. So what I need for you yahoo users out there, is to tell me how can I get rid of this box contaning what I have already typed the search engine previously. PLEASE HELP!

if I don't have the time to get the account verified properly?

In other words do you have to have had the account completely verified, doing the thing with the two small amounts into your bank account and then giving them, or can you just create an account, add a debit card and use it to pay for something instantly?

I am changing my broadband supplier in January when my contract is up from Orange (they are rubbish, but I promise not to rant, just don't use them if you have any sense).

Can anyone recommend an alternative supplier?

I need to be able to connect using DSL (I live in rural south west scotland, so no cable/satellite here), have a 512mbps service (that's the max i can get), have a technical helpline where the person on the other end of the phone knows what they are actually talking about, the helpline to be free or national call rate, not have to wait weeks and weeks to be connected, have one wired and one wireless connection (i have a laptop as well as a desktop) and I want to better service than I am getting now (i.e. if my service breaks like it is now (I have a temp dial up connection) that they do something in less than six weeks (unlike orange).

I have looked at uswitch.com but would like other people's genuine opinions

Can you help? Sensible answers only.

In my IPConfig menu in my command prompt, it doesnt even give me a 0.0.0.0., its just blank...My computer is newly set up, it says i'm getting a connection, I just cant access the internet.
