Internet - October 2006

So when someone googles company "XYZ Industries", and I post a complaint on a website (services were not delivered) are for example yahoo or google searches able to find that and show results right there with the search (based on their relativity of course). I imagine also it depends on the website I use - there are a number of complaint ones out there. So far Im just in the middle of the dispute and have not tried it although I spose I could do a fake company, but looking for a quick answer here.

i log into yahoo and lots of other sites that i visit every day and i allways click stay logged ion for them all but when i restart my pc im logged out of them all usually i would stay logged in forever with some sites and with sites like yahoo i would have to put in my password every day but my username would stay it doesnt do that anymore is there a reason? i have restored all defaults with the internet explorer options yesterday and no luck

i updated my ie to version 7 with the yahoo thing about 2 weeks ago and sinse then ive been getting this porblem i thaught it could be just the yahoo thing because they arent the best so i got the normal ie but still same is happening. im sure i just have somting unchecked that i shouldnt but i dont know what can anyone help

From this computer, which is at one of my places of work, I can neither forward nor reply to e-mails. This is a huge inconvenience. It only happens on this computer.

I'm trying to upload a video I made on Windows Movie Maker to my Yahoo 360 page and I can't figure out where I can put it or how to do it. Is that even possible, and if so, how do I do it?

I'm starting with wmv files (windows media player) and want to put them on a DVD that will play on my TV/DVD player. Nero will not do it as it requires ifo, bup, or vob files. So what program(s) do you use to convert wmv files to one of these formats? Please don't recommend a website with umpteen choices. If you don't currently use a program to do this, then please don't answer. A shareware or free-to-try program would be great. I've tried Super, but it doesn't convert to iso or bup or vob from wmv. Thanks.

Okay, I admit I was naive enough to open an unsolicited e-mail from a known company (Thought it had to do with a job search) and BOOM, I am getting junk mail galore. It seems that even certain job boards will allow some junk to be mailed to you. Can't say I am saavy about using the internet and e-mail yet but I am learning the hard way. I really don't want to change my e-mail account name at this time because I have alot of friends, co-workers and business contacts that e-mail me. Someone said not to even use the "Unsubscribe" button. If I just delete them for awhile, will the junk mail slow to a trickle or hopefully, stop?????
I already have my Spam Guard on. This junk is going to my bulk folder but I also get other bulk items, so it is time consuming to go through each day and sort the good from the bad. Anyone have any SERIOUS helpful advice?

I am building a website for a client for my IT class. We have created a questbook section in which their is a form customers can fill out. But we want the information to be submited to our clients yahoo email once the customer presses submit on the page.
