i downloaded download acceleration plus but uninstall it. now i download thing is slower than before i install it. what happened? how can i change the system to before i install it?

iam using a dial up connection to access the net.so i miss my phone calls during the period when iam online
does any1 here know a software which informs me of an incoming call when iam online??i got 1,but
that allowed only U.S people.iam from india..any INDIANS here with an answer??

I changed to MSN search engine, but am not satisfied with it. I would like to make Yahoo search engine my default search engine. How do I do this? Any help that you can give me will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your time and help.

We can't get my daughter's email from my computer. How do we logon from mine? I can't get around my account in order for her to access her own. She needs access from my computer when she's at my house.

This is Dion Fox-Otti. I need to be able to access my account from my Dad's computer when I am at his house. Yet when I activate Yahoo, I can not get around his. The welcome is always "Welcome Jay, etc." We have searched for mine on Yahoo and Ask, plus Google from his terminal, but my email query always comes back "no results..." When I go to Dad's house, I am usually there for a couple of days. I need to get my email when I am there. Thanx much.

i reseived a chain letter in my email it was forrard by a LAWYER and stated that is was being tracked by microsoft and AOL and every time u send it they send u $ 240. for forarding the email .

My comuter had a red icon warning me to download antivirus; it had a list so I chosed Symantec and found it said 90 days free trial.
It is a small circle in black with small quares and yellow all around; it does not look like the original logo on Symantec which is yellow with black. Is that how it should look like.

I went to google and wrote Norton and there they offer trialware the same one; Symantec but strangely it it only for 15 days trial so....

Now the red icon dissapeared....should I trust it or should I remove the program.

How to know it is the real thing?
