Ok if your using internet explorer go to Tools, choose Internet Options, on the General Tab the first option says Home page type in http://www.yahoo.com/ click apply down the bottom and ok and thats it.

In the Internet Explorer, click Tools & go to Internet Options. Then, you'll see a sentence which is "To create home page tabs, type each address on its own line." Then, press "http://www.yahoo.com". Click "Apply & OK" & Finsih.

it's for internet explorer
just go to yahoo.com then look there "yahoo featured services" click on download then click on toolbar then setup the software read carefully message while setup is going on it asks "do u want to want to set yahoo search ur default search" click on yes may be it works if don't work do'nt abuse me bye

It happened because you downloaded Yahoo messenger on your computer or any other Yahoo software. To get rid of it, you must delete that softeware,

if u using IE7, just go to search.yahoo.com it u will automatically get a prompt, for other browsers u first need to mention the name and version.
