Has the effects the Internet has had on our lives, been good or bad?

It has been good for me!.It's only bad if people use it to do harm to others or for scams etc.But the good out weighs the bad I think!.We have the world at our finger tips.If you want to learn about anything just type and click!It is sad that some abuse the internet,but they are the same that will abuse anything else in life.
So I just keep a positive attitude,satay away from the bad sites and enjoy this wonderful learning tool!

Both. it depends on the user on how he or she use it. The good part of the intrnet is that it help us to make our job easier like email as compared to snail mail, the research here than on an encyclopedia, e banking and so many more. On the other hand, Internet also has its own bad effects. No. 1 is the pornography. It does not help a human its just for a gain of some, especially males.

it certainly has changed our lives. I would have to say the changes are both good and bad.
One example of the bad is that it has given the terrorists a platform they wouldn't have had prior - it has upped their game - fortunately there are many good people who are putting a damper on their use of the Internet and in fact using the Internet to track them down. another example of the 'bad' is people are less likely to talk in person, some would say this has decreased our social ability and social skills, everything gets abbreviated on the 'net.
the good is to have so much great info easily accessible, greater efficiency in doing mundane things like bill payment, booking flights, etc and on a social or business level easy access to the rest of the world giving the ability to connect with anyone around the world.
this answer space is a great example of the good - i have posted a few questions and have gotten amazing and helpful answers - and, the only time it took me to obtain this info of course was the time it took to write the question!

With every new innovation comes pluses and minuses. You know that already. My point is that the Internet has not only provided enhancements (pluses) to our lives, but it brought its own problems (negatives) as well. A plus is email, but a negative is spam. We can't let spam stop us from using email so what is happening is that anti-spam technology is being produced and offered. So, with the bad comes additional innovations to combat its effects.

But, to answer your question directly, I would say no. The effects that the Internet has had on our lives has been good.
