How do i tell if my cpu is ****ed up? Are there any marks on the small chip? Or you can't tell at all?

i want to put a radeon 9250 pci-bus card in a p.c using onboard sis graphics,do i have to disable the onboard graphics in bios before i use the radeon or will it do this automatically?
