I want to link my criteria so I don't have to wade through false responses.
Adding a + sign doesn't seem to help?

I'm looking for a good computer that will last me for a while (at least 5 years, preferbally more). I need something that can be upgraded and modified; from the get go, I need a good video card and lots of memory and RAM. I want a computer that I can use Photoshop quickly and effeciently with, without it stalling or taking forever; a computer that will work with Wacom tablets; I also want to listen to music while working on my pictures. What computer brand should I use, and what specifics should I look for? (Brand/size of video card, amount of RAM and memory, etc).
Also, for monitors: what size, and what resolution would be best for artists? I prefer the bigger moniters, but a flat screen would be fine too. Does brand matter much with moniters?

I don't know a lot about computers. I currently have SBC Yahoo dial up internet service, but I have not been able to access it for some time because, my children say, our computer is old. So, I have recently purchased a new computer, and my question is, once my new computer is installed, will I have to cancel my present internet service and start all over again with another service? Can I start all over again with the same service, or can I keep the current service without having to change my e-mail address and password? I'm so confused.

It keeps turning off and on .... we had an electrical storm about a week ago and it messed up some wires and burned like 2 x boxes so our computer is messed up so we bought another one and it's doing the same thing, could it be an electrical failure inside the house ?? everything else works fine. We even connected the pc in a diff room and we're using the same monitor the old pc had. but it turns off every 15-20 mins i already checked the power options and they're set to never. could it be the outlets that are messed up ??

I'm making a program with debug so i can invert the order of the bits in a given byte, the problem is when i ask the user to input the byte, the byte is seen by the program as an ascii caracter not as an hexa number (a=61 in ascii), i manage to work with the basic numbers (0-9) by just using "and al,0f", but i don't know how to work with the highers numbers (a to f). Theres another question. When you use the assembler how do you safe a value in a specific memory place. for example:

when the enssambling moment comes it shows an error. how do i fix this??
