I just had a question. I was thinking about switching from cable to dsl. And from At&t to Vonage. But do i need to be with At&t to use their dsl service.

i dont know what the hell is going on with my laptop but everytime i hite the r key it types wr when i hit V it comes up as xv and some of the numbers wont type in either. when i got 5 it loads up my browser???


i know it sounds crazy but its happening...

anyone have any advice?

I have a SB Audigy 2 ZS and when i hook my headphones into the sound card, the sound doesnt go through the headphone. But the mic still works. Can someone please tell me how to transfer the sound into my headphones?

I get them whenever I insert a cd, plug in a usb/firewire device, or anything removable. The exact error is:

Windows - Drive Not Ready
The drive is not ready for use; it's door mat be open. Please check drive and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed
Cancel Try Again Continue

It will go away if I press cancel about 10 times, but it's very annoying, and pops up randomly. Everyhting works fine, the drive doors are closed. Anyone know how to get rid of 'em?

1- Has a quasi-professional domain (Yahoo doesn't sound really professional, and I hate gmail.. something like techmail.com or whatever)

2-Has pop access

3-Has "last login" information (with their IP and the time)

I am in the Engineering field so any "techie" e-mail or nerdy e-mail would suit me just fine!!

On e bay motors,they have some cars with a certain reserve,or no reserve,but then it says "buy it now for 3500.00".If e bay is an auction type service based on bidding,how can they legally put a price on something and sell it outright from under the bidders?What if I was willing to go to 3600.00.Shouldn`t I have that oppurtunity?But if they sell it outright at 3500.00 they are going against the baesics of e bay,aren`t they?

My Windows XP Pro is a copy, it was already installed on computor when i bought it second hand. Everytime i switch on a prompt tells me to either buy genuine now! or resolve later. I click resolve later everytime and everything works o.k. after that. I get all my updates that Microsoft won't send on Limewire. I never send error reports. Can i do this indefinately or can Microsoft send anything to shut me down? Pop-ups also keep coming up telling me i'm running counterfiet software. Is there any way to stop the prompts and pop-ups besides obviously forking out 100 quid or so for genuine XP?
