Well this message have nothin to do with ur RAM . Its about free spaces u have left on your partition ......where XP is installed .
All kinnda windows use a Swap File (witch is in FACT the virtual memory in every computer ) .So firs of all is to check how much free space have on ur C drive (presuming XP is installed in C drive) .....after try uninstall all unnecesary software and delete all unnecessary files from C drive. A good way to make more free spaces is to move My documents folder on D drive (if u have more free space on D drive ) coze lot of graphic programs put a TEMP folder in user MY documents folders .
If you wanna know more.....
Feel free to contact me on yahoo messenger for more details.

First of all increase the amount of RAM in your system. The second go to to system properties, advanced options, performance, config.
In config go to advanced options, and then to virtual memory and press the change button.
In the upper part of the new window you can see the drives in your system, in the middle part three options. The first is to manually change the value of the page file (virtual memory) at your own election, the second lets the system control this parameter, and the third is not recommended.
In the second pane you can increase the amount reserved to virtual memory by 1/3 and try with the program that has the trouble (maybe you need to do a restart).
If this not work, go to the second option and try again (also needs a restar)
Sorry for my bad english.

If we're talking Photoshop here, get a new drive and set that as it's scratch disk. Partition it (give it a GB or so depending how big your files are) and away you go.
