I get them whenever I insert a cd, plug in a usb/firewire device, or anything removable. The exact error is:

Windows - Drive Not Ready
The drive is not ready for use; it's door mat be open. Please check drive and make sure that a disk is inserted and that the drive door is closed
Cancel Try Again Continue

It will go away if I press cancel about 10 times, but it's very annoying, and pops up randomly. Everyhting works fine, the drive doors are closed. Anyone know how to get rid of 'em?

Oh, I hope this is the right section for this. The errors are because of hardware, so it should be fine? If not, oh well >:3

I've tried system restores, I will try to roll back the drivers.

You should verify you cables inside the computer. You got a time out error. Verify that everything is well plugged.

Do you have a floppy drive ? Verify its declaration in the BIOS.

Try to disonnect them, one at a time, until you find the one generating the error message. If it's not a problem of cable (switch cables), consider replacing the deficient part.

Did you scan your computer for virus ? That may be a cause too.

use system restore.... if not cured, format drive and start again.. also "roll-back drivers" in device properties may help you...
