these alerts are a malware scam, its companies telling you false information to get you to buy their product, which in itself can be infected and can actually turn your perfectlly clean p.c into a spyware ridden machine, please ignore these, its nothing to do with your p.c its just a nuicance
one example of a company who did this was "spyaxe",they used to sell a peice of software for spyware cleaning but what actually happened is it installed itself on your p.c obviously with your permission but then used your p.c for illegal purposes, like advertising porn websites
and the problem now is that spyaxe the company went bust so no one actually knows how to get rid of the spyware accosiated with it,
as long as you have run both virus and spyware scans and they are clean do not worry, the cleaner your system the more you will be targeted with these messages
if you need some safe and reliable security software use these as i use them and i have kept my p.c clean for over 2 years now
anti virus........http://www.avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html(a free program for home use)
spyware protection(free)
spybot........http://www.safer-networking.org/
adaware.....http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
ewido anti-spy....http://www.ewido.net/en/
finally do not worry yourself over these warnings,i get them infact anyone who goes to that web page will get them
also changing your browser will stop these messages as they go for internet explorer, why not download and install mozzila firefox(http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/),i am using this at the moment and i have found it miles better than internet explorer, give it a go,its brilliant
good luck

Sometimes you need to run in safe mode to completely dispose of a virus. Got to Start - Run and then type "msconfig" a window will come up, select Diagnostic Mode. Reboot and run your anti-virus and anti-spy ware. Then repeat the Msconfig command, and go back to normal start up. Run the anti-virus software again. If the virus is still there, it is what is called a polymorphic virus, reformat your hard drive (I hope this isn't your case, that would suck) I would recommend installing AOL's safety and security center. It uses up a lot of your RAM, but beats the hell out of the slow down you'd get from virus, spy ware etc..

Most of these messages are spam. Unsolicited adverts. Don't click on them to open them. A good rule for all these techno crap is to do nothing till they break down. As long as the keyboard still puts the letters on screen it is fine. They are not people, and u still have the last card when it is f****d - throw the junk in the bin and use the internet cafe. Let them worry about it. U are not an engineer are u? Similarly u wont do plumbing and I wont do knitting. Cheers.

If you are getting messages to install a adware program, don't accept it or do it, it might be a virus that is fake and it's trying to install something else.

Make sure to have a Firewall installed soon and some of these programs below. NEVER, accept anything else that you don't know what it is.

This is what I do to protect my computer:
> Scan your computer for spyware/adware using a FREE software from Microsoft called Windows Defender: http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

> You can download a FREE antivirus software:

> You can buy Webroot Spy Sweeper here, it's very nice, safe and very up-to-date:

> MSN Toolbar, includes Pop-up blocker, Phishing filter - FREE:

>Scan your computer for spyware/adware:

>Scan your computer for virus/trojans:

> Use Windows Update to make sure you have the latest security updates: http://www.windowsupdate.com

> You can download the latest version of Internet Explorer, it's the new version, fast, clean and secure:

hi, perhaps you can try Norton or Mcafee to remove the virus, but you should pay for the software.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can disable all virus to run, because the virus can only run on IE.

besides, firefox can block any any poppus and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE. as you know, most of the virus is spread throught internet and webpage.

firefox is much smaller than IE, so i run faster than IE.

download firefox for free:

If your just surfing the web then no site will be able to tell you that you have a virus etc without it checking your hard drive.

That doesn't mean you haven't got any spyware etc on your computer.

Zonealarm (free version) and Ad-aware are decent programmes to download that are free other sites probably just want your Cash.

You have malware installed. It is giving you false information in the form of pop-up windows.

It sounds like your system is pretty well infested with the stuff. You might want to try Ad-Aware by Lavasoft. It's pretty good at removing most malware. I have included the link below.

You might also want to invest in Norton Internet Security. That should give you pretty good system protection and it doesn't cost the earth.

If you get it in an Internet explorer window then ignore it, it's just scamming companies trying to get you to install what could be a virus, and almost certainly spyware. If you're getting alerts from your antivirus then do a full scan and let it fix itself.

Okay lets keep it basic and very simple today.
Get you a spyware detection software and a good Mcafee virus detector and wash your computer of all the junk and you will be okay!
