I walked my mom thru the installation process of Yahoo Messenger. The download was successful but she is not able to receive messages. The text box displays that the a person is writing a message but they just won't show up. I've searched Yahoo Messenger help and followed their instructions, but that didn't work either. I've even got her to install older versions of Ymessenger and the problem remains the same. She can send messages but can't receive them. Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem or is my mom just out of luck? (I think I might get her to use AOL...sometimes Yahoo sucks!) I appreciate the the input and help....Thanks a lot!!

i have installed windows xp service pack 2 on my laptop and i have these errors on device manager:multimedia audio controller,network controller,pc camera,pci modem,video controller,video controller(vga compatible) and i don't know how to fix them,pls help me.

I am surprise that the items which are in outbox couldn't delete as usal. I used to wright click upon the items then select delete before but now it's impossible to delete by this way.

Ok this question might sound a bit stupid to all the computer geniouses out there but i want to know how come there arent any virtuses for Mac computers? And how come Microsoft cannot incorporate this "technology" or whatever it is in Windows?

i have installed a lotta software and uninstalled many others so when i went to my registry i found so many entries that i have uninstalled a long time ago but they still exist and dont contain anythin nd r taking so much space....i have ccleaner but i need a better FREE software then will delete all those unused entries and fix my reg cuz im also gettin a lotta pc errors....thnx

Looking for easy-to-use free FTP (to download archived email from my website).
Is anyone familiar with CesarFTP - 0.99g?? I found it on www.versiontracker.com with 2 good reviews, but a little concerned about downloading an unknown product.
I HAD been trying FTP Commander 5.20, but unable to get it to work for me!!!
