Okay so I got my layout from someone else's profile. I changed everything to my liking except for one small thing! I can't get my comments to be public! I don't want them hidden and I do not know how to fix it.

Every time I open a window I get a second window that pops up Saying HTTP 404. How the heck do I get rid of it? I got it on my last pc too and finally had to buy another computer because it was driving me nuts and there were so many of these windows popping up each time I couldn't do anything at all on my computer.

I can only burn around 20 songs per a cd. I've heard that if you change the format of the songs, you can fit in upwards of 200 songs. How do you do this? I have Windows Media Player and WinAmp. Can I do this with either of these two programs, or do I have to get a new one? Thanks for your help.

Have air-blown the board, fans (which are working ok), no viruses, spyware etc. I use p2p often but even when not in use, it still shuts down, especially when using USB file transfer to external HD. Anyone have any clues. Have not changed my usage/software (xp pro) habits and this problem has only recently started. Would appreciate some ideas please.

The pc freezes up as soon as I boot up the computer and will not allow me to get in the control panel to remove one of the programs.

I have already tried the following fix which I found on a pc website:
Boot into Safe Mode, click Start, click Run, type msconfig in the text box, and click OK. Click the Startup tab and look in the Startup Item list for entries that relate to Symantec, Norton, or McAfee. Click the boxes next to these entries to remove the check marks, click Apply, and then click OK. Reboot your computer so that it starts normally, and Windows shouldn't lock up anymore

The above did not work so I'm back frozen mode again. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

I have a webcam made by View Quest Technologies Model No. M-318B supplied by Time computers that came with my Time PC. I had Windows '98 installed at the time but since then I have installed Windows XP Pro. In the past, I have been able to install my webcam even though a dialogue box pops up saying "System Error". but having to re-format my PC, thanks to downloading Service Pack 2, I can't get it to work with the same dialogue box appearrig when I try to install. Any ideas about how I can get round this problem, or can I get later drivers for this cam?

it is a compaq presario 6400nx i put two 512mb ddr pc2100 sticks into it, the computer, bios and in windows, only sees 512 mb, not the 1 gb i put in, i have tried moving the sticks around and updating the bios, is there anything else i can do?

ok everytim ei open a folder with movies a warnng comes up with fatal error- installtion corrupted please reinstall nero. i do thave nero installed well i did it always did this my main media player is wmp i uninstalled nero is there a way to remove this and all of neros components that were left behind? also incd doesnt want to be removied the folder doesnt every ti ei try it says that incdshx.dll is in use i look at the processes and i dotn see anythi ginthere that has to do with nero can som eone help me!!!!
