Yahoo homepage says I have 5 new e-mails and I don't...I have logged out...logged back in and to no avail...the notice of 5-e-mails still is listed...I need to clear that

i do not see a refresh button on yahoo homepage...

I guess no one can help ya but me in that... you have to edit your registery file and delete the entery that says you have five unread e-mails. just go to start menu and choose run then type regedit a window opens up go to HKEY_Current_user folder then choose the folder Softwares then choose the folder microsoft then choose the folder windows then choose the folder currentversion then choose the folder unreadmail and delete the entery on the right panel where it says you have 5 yahoo mails and close the registery via exit and then restart the computer.

click the refresh button on the tool bar on the top

lol i think someone is hacking you cause when ever that happens..... you are redirected to another site... are you typing the wrong site....? www.yahoo.com there are alot of spammers....if you type your password they can take it immediately

Maybe you have too many emails that those 5 got buried somewhere..???
