I was thinking of going with a laptop for college but I'm not sure 1500 will cover all that I want it to do (ie gaming, tv recording). What desktop specifications do you reccomend? AMD or Intel? Single processor or two? What graphics card? Keep in mind I want a large monitor also (so I can double it as a tv) so my budget is more like 1300 or less. Thanks alot!

I have a program that sends email messages from an oracle database to users, how can I ensure that the format of the message (which is in html) is not broken. In MS Outlook, the messages appear with the html code all visible and if you do not know html, you cannot tell message from html code.

In the hope that some of you will actually read this, when asking for computer help have the decency to ad details such as, what operating sytem you are running! This happened shortly after I logged into my Yahoo email today. It says "the security certif is from a trusted certifying authority. THe security certif date is valid. But, the name on the security certif is invalid or does not match the name of the site. Then, I looked into the Certificate tab and it says: Issued to a248.e.akamai.net. Issued by GTECyberTrustGlobal Root. Valid 1/25/06 to 1/25/07. I have no idea what this means.
