This happened in Irving, Texas where I live. After the train had passed the arms stayed down for some reason and about 10 cars ahead of me when through them over the tracks anyway. I saw no other way out so I followed them. I was the one who got a ticket for it. I have heard that this is a particularly bad ticket. Does anyone know how much it costs and if I can do defensive driving? I can't find out for 7 days until I can go to the courthouse to deal with the ticket.

What do you think of the Burlington Northern Railroad merging with Atchison Topeka-Santa Fe Raiload to become he BNSF Railway? Personally I liked it better when they were two seperate railroad companies, I've always loved the BN growing up and I loved the big giant BN logo.

The train track is directly behind our home. We would like for our crossing to be a quiet zone. Is there paperwork to fill out and where do we get it? Why is it that people are so mean to individuals they can clearly see needs a seat, talking about pregnant women, being newly pregnant myself most mornings I am unable to get a seat on the subway allot of individuals they look at u then your belly u your belly is as if they are trying to figure out weather its worth giving up their seat on the train. To all the people who find it to hard to give their seat up, one day u gonna need someone to be kind to u and it might be that once pregnant woman u refused the seat on the train. Be kind it just takes a heart beat.
