I have no idea how to figure out how to book a train that will take me from Savannah GA to Miami FL and if it will can i order the ticket 3 days in advance or would i have to order it sooner? can someone please help me.

All seams to be going well until I try to enter postal address details ie post code..(which we don't have here in Ireland)
And even when I tell them that I live outside Britain it do sent want to accept my details I have opted for confirmation by email to use at their fast ticket machines at the station but after going through the first 5 steps I hit a brick wall. Is there a problem with a person outside Britain registering for a ticket ..is it the web..or is it just me again

I sure do miss seeing them and waving to the guys that rode in them! growing up that was one of the fun things to do was wave at them as they went by! it's a real bummer now when the rear of the train goes by I don't much feel like waving at that little box with the flashing red light thats on there! lol

Ok, I know they they sometimes catnap while getting cars hooked or unhooked, but I heard they sometimes get transported to a hotel to sleep, how do they get transported from the train to the hotel? or how does this exactly work? Is it always a hotel they sleep at or what? I live next to a rail road track (on a hill) and a big paper factory on down brings the loaded trailers down to where our house is and union pacific comes pick them up late at night and bring them back in couple days and I was confused bout them sleeping
