I'm NOT saying one is better than the other, just curious.
This convention must have started early, because railway trains observe the same rule. London must have been crowded enough for some basic traffic rules before American cities like New York were settled by English people, but New York drives on the right! So do other large, old cities like Rome. Did people drive their buggies wherever they liked until automobiles appeared? What chaos that must have been!

I wanted to know how a typical road test went. For example where they take you, what i should remember to do, what I shouldn't do, and does the whole hands at ten and two really matter.

Once upon a time, American-made cars embodied a vigorous national confidence. They were enormous chunks of muscular metal and chrome with jukebox-like dashboards and dangerously-sharp tailfins. Bold and flashy, they commanded respect on the highway.

These days, forget about respect. American cars are singled out for their lack of exciting designs, poor quality and meager fuel efficiency. Many American consumers began to choose Toyotas over Chryslers years ago.

Well one says that the best car out of a 2007 mustang, 2007 Dodge Charger, and a Dodge Magnum is the Magnum, another one says the magnum, and one say the mustang. Anyone that is really good on their car knowledge and would like to help? The decision will end up being the car I end up buying for myself.

G6, X3, M5, LS (was a Lincoln, now a Lexus model name - go figure) - I HATE the generic & confusing list. Someone tells me they bought a new MDX & I don't know if it's a Ford, Hyundai or ??? I like names like Mustang, Corvette, or heck, even Taurus - at least my mind can tie it to a specific car. Why do you suppose auto manufactuerers are perpetuating these confusing nonsense names?
