I have a 1998 Mercury, Mystique and I am trying to get rid of it...I am asking 2500 for it...that isnt too much, I wouldnt think...but my problem is that if I sell it for that much...where am I gonna get a car that is anywhere from 2500-3500 (thats my budget)...thats not a piece of junk?

This may sound really vain and strange, but right now I own a volkswagen jetta that i recieved from my grandparents for free...the only problem is its automatic. I really want to supe up my car and make it nice and fast but to me I always thought manuals were the way to go. What do you guys think? are they really wimpy? my mom said I cant sell the car but I can change the transmission to Manual if i want, so if anyone knows what all is involved with that. Thanks for any advice

FFV's can run off of straight E85 or 85% ethanol and regular cars can run on only 10% ethanol (supposedly but i know they can run on E85 and probably 50%ethanol), what is the differene between the two vehicles mechanically? different engines, different parts what is it? Do you have a FFV, is it any different?
