Well if you are like me you do not look at it as a choice. A wife, now that is a choice for a lifetime.
Right now I am driving the fast sportscar, but every couple of years I get a new itch and buy something else. Next up for me is either a pickup or one of those Subaru Outbacks. Why? Because women get jealous when you trade them in, but cars . . . they just keep making new models that I want to try, and they don't call their attorneys. Though come to think of it, I better stay away from anything that has the damnable Onstar system.

truck. if you can't make money with it, its a waste of money. I drive a 1/2 ton dodge 2 wheel drive truck and pull down 100 g's a year with very little effort. Own a sports car you spend a 100 g's a year so to speak

Currently, I own both, got a vette and a CXT (is that beefy enough?) Both are fine, I use the vette for daily driving, despite it is a 1996 model, it is still fast enough to get me to point A to point B. I use my CXT rarely cause it eats my monthly gas budget! I use it only for utility purposes (use it once on a camping trip). only drive it thrice a month. But having both gives you respect in the streets.

sports cars are nice till your buddy with the big truck wants you to go mudding makin you wish you had a big truck..i myslef prefer a big beefy truck....i like to do things go places and dont wanna be whining when i gotta go over a gravel road with a sports car sitting 2 inches from the ground praying i dont hit a pot hole...also what do you need a sports car for except to show you rich, full of yourself..and for most of the people driving sports cars especially younger people...take your damn grandpas car back to him before you ruin what he busted his whole like to get just to have something nice before he dies....

Mine is the 2006 six speed 400hp, 400ft.lb. torque Pontiac GTO in red spice color. Own a truck and everyone wants you to haul there stuff around for free.
