And here I was thinking it was just the way Tennesseans drove!!
Lord only knows why they do that but is it annoying. Around here, you can go for miles but as soon as you pass that person they will speed up and sometimes even flip you off as if YOU'RE the idiot!

Just to piss you off. They see you come up behind them then say F this they can go around me, then when you dont and just sit there and tailgate them for 7 miles you piss them off so when you do try to pass they stomp on the gas.
I don't know if thats true for everyone but thats why I do it, but hey I'm usually already doing 20 miles an hour over the speed limit, if you want to go faster you can just go around me.

lol... that is SO true!!! I think its because they dont realize how slow they are actually going until you try and pass them... or they are really old and since you drive up next to them they cant tell if they are actually going anywhere and so they step on the gas to feel like they are moving!!!! lol.. just my guess... i have a hard time finding my brakes!!!

Cuz there dumb asses. What I do is get in front of them and take my foot off the gas and coast to the slowest speed I can stand (without causing a accident) and see how they like that!

That's so annoying. If you dont want me to pass you, then move it!
What 's also annonying is when I go EXACTLY the speed limit, and cars whizz by me at at least 30mph faster than the limit.

i have no idea. but i am so tired of the way people drive these days! either they drive too slow and you can't pass them. or they drive too fast and almost kill you dangerously switching lanes. we just can't win!!!
