Sites for UPS, DHL and Fedex all only offer air shipping. I don't mind if the package takes a month the get there (travelling by ship). Is there a company that does super-slow, but also cheap international shipping?

I have found that putting super 94 octane level gasoline with a bottle of octane booster in my car once a week( I work out of town) that the better gas mileage and it lowers the severly of the knocks and pings in the engine and the car gets a little bit better acceleration for the first i would say 20 miles.....what causes this...what is octane and why is it making my car run better...I have always wondered these questions and also my car is recommened for 87 octane level so does using the higher grade hurt anything other then my wallet :)??

i'm taking the new jersey's knowledge test to get my permit tomorrow morning. studying the driving manual is so hard because everything in it is information that i should know. i have been taking the practice tests on safetyfirstdrivingschool.com, but the website is from 2002 and i dont know if that is updated enough. my highest score on the practice tests has been 45 out of 50, which is passing, but i dont know if this is great material to study from. any better suggestions?

I traded in my first three cars between 70 and 80 K miles. One of them was mifing antifreeze with transmission fluid. My fourth - a Chrysler Town and Country is going stong at 148K.
Now I have come to expect that a car should last 175-200k miles. Any car that lasts less than 150K is piece of junk.
Money I spend on car should go towards building me a great machine and not towards providing the UAW contract clauses that are not possible for all working Americans.
If I have enough patriotism to buy American cars, I want American Auto Workers to have enough patriotism to make building me a durable, quality vehicle a priority over getting Union benefits that none of the non-union working class Amreicans can ever recieve.
Am I wrong in thinking that way?
