i'm taking the new jersey's knowledge test to get my permit tomorrow morning. studying the driving manual is so hard because everything in it is information that i should know. i have been taking the practice tests on safetyfirstdrivingschool.com, but the website is from 2002 and i dont know if that is updated enough. my highest score on the practice tests has been 45 out of 50, which is passing, but i dont know if this is great material to study from. any better suggestions?

Read the manual again, very slowly. Don't read just to read. Read and try picturing what they are telling you. Imagine yourself in your car and think of what you would do if in the same situation as the book you are reading. Make notes on the things you can't remember. Once you are done, read the manual again, but concentrate on the things you have highlighted and memorize them.
If you got 45 out of 50, it's pretty good, even on an old test.
Right before you go to bed, read the manual again, or at least the parts you didn't know very well. When you wake up in the morning, read it again... and that what has made me an A student in every class. Good luck.

Study the manual, it's why they give it to you. It has the answer you willl need. Even if you think the information is redundant, commit it to memory, you'd be suprised by some of the questions that are not common knowledge.

Read the manual several times and write down the main key points of things over a couple of times on paper. Writing helps you t remember them a little more

study the booklet, and the rules of the road haven't changed much in the past few years, so don't worry, it's usually common sense, have someone test u before u go.
