Agreed tralfie, but can't we just delay it a little bit? At least until my nephews grow a little older. Geologic time is one thing but its starting to be lived out in OUR lifetime.

No way dude.

We need our icebergs and polar bears. I need my four distinct seasons. I am kind of fond of the ozone layer. I only need to be so tan.

So what if it's a little more convenient to move supplies? Life isn't suppose to be easy. Not like they will ever move any cost savings on to us anyway.

We have got to quit killing this earth or it will be uninhabitable. Where on Earth are we going to live then?

Need to start making sun glasses green so we have better vision when we make choices in the market or on election day.

Guess the shipping industry hasn't bothered to consider that if global warming were to continue melting the icecaps and flooding coastlines this could render all of the world's ports useless. Also probable results would be a population dieback that could certainly increase the shipping industry's operating cost while demand shrinked.

If your in the shipping biz, : higher water levels, larger water masses, more hours/distance of travel = larger billing to the reciever. NO?
