I have a 427 truck and want to build it bigger for pulling any ideas??? can you get a 540 out of it

My dome can be switched on & off manually but it doesn't shut off after shutting the doors. My mechanic cannot find the cause.

The car also has remote key locks but the don't work either. Could it be a related problem? How the remote key locks be fixed?

It is a white four door, automatic with 150K + in good condition. It has A/C, CD player w/ AM/FM radio and upgraded speakers. The remote locks do not work but you can lock the car manually and the dome light doesn't turn off automatically. Kelly Blue Book estimates $3100 while Edmond's estimates $1803. Please document/explain your answer. Thanks!

Just curious, if any of you have had one, what do you think of it? I'm buying it used for $2995 (financed), 63,000 miles on it (a rich old woman owned it previously, never really drove it).
