recently my cd player has started to skip when i have the volume turned up, i kinda thought my subwoofer hits so hard that it would make my cd player skip but it doesnt make sense because it only started doing this now never before, have any ideas? maybe i should try a lens cleaner?

I drive a GMC Jimmy. I'm about to have Xplod 6" in the doors, and Polk 6x9 in the rear and small Polks in the dash. I am also going to replace my Pioneer deck with a newer Sony CDX-GT51W. Question is do i need an amp to give it all more power? Or will it work but not produce what it could sound/quality wise? Thanks.

i have an L Reg Rover 214 with the stereo that I think came with the car when it was new. one of the speakers in the back is very rattley and tinny, even when the radio is on low volume. would it be easy to fix and if so how do i do it?

I HAVE 2 KICKERS CVR 12 BRAND NEW 2007 MODEL. I WAS LOOKING AT MY PREVIOUS SUBS AND THE CABLES THAT ARE ON THE OLD SUBS ARE DIFFERENT THAN THE ONES THAT THESE SUBS SUPPORT. I'm about to purchase a 2004 BMW 330ci convertible with a Harman Kardon stereo. In my current car, I have a Sony CDX-F5700 (http://tech.yahoo.com/ps/sony-cdx-f5700/1991398705). Should I replace the Harman Kardon with the Sony? Or is the Sony stereo better? Thanks!

Had the Lanzar cap installed about a year and a half ago - still works fine but the 2 blue neon tubes inside stopped working. I don't know if it can be taken apart to replace the 2 tubes. Or is it simpler to just get a new cap? See the same model for sale on ebay.

Once the cd gets to about track #4 and higher, the unit starts to skip ... then stops ... then attempts to play more ... then skips, etc.

Could some please inform why the player does this. I recently purchased the car from a private seller, and the cd player was 1 of the reasons that I purchased the car.

i have a solobaric L5, and the other day, the CD is was playing sounded like it wasnt putting out quite as hard as usual. i changed the cd and it was back to normal, put the first cd back in and it was fine. so now i keep listening for it (hopefully it was all in my head), and i havent had another problem yet. so im wondering if one of the voice coils in the dual VC sub were blown or bad, would it be a significant difference, or just slightly less powerful? cause now im paranoid that i may not be able to hear it if it is bad. it runs off of a Bazooka 500w mono class D amp. and i was thinking maybe the amp got hot for a minute too (it was warm out and i had been playing it a while). im planning to put a Kicker 750.1 amp on it soon, so i was just asking yalls info on this. thanks

I just bought a 2004 ION 3. It has a factory 6 cd stereo. I'm not dumb, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to set the clock! I didn't get a owners manual with it. In most cars its so obvious, this is terrible. help!!

I have the tendency to listen to music loud. Lately the speaker on my door (driver's side) has been crackling and vibrating. I still here music from the speaker but the crackling is annoying. Is it on the verge of being blown out? Or is there a way I can fix this.
