I am NOT looking for the plane that can take off from the ground vertically...

Repeat NOT...

---

I am looking for (I believe it's a Canadian plane) that can be on an angle when it is in almost full speed while flying horizontally

Imagine a plane as this / (the top right being the nose... and the bottom left being the jets)
and it keeps on flying like that /////////////////////////

I also believe the wings are out completely to it's side when taking off... and the wings are all the way back when it is flying at top speeds (or this could be a different plane... but pretty sure it's the same one)

Apparently this is one of the most acrobatic planes in the world... I've seen it at air show but I can't find it on the internet

---

Alright thanks...

What are some phrases/commands used when flying? Specificly, I am looking for language used when communicating with other, in my case, helicopters. For insance, "roger that" means "o.k.," and "negative" means "no." I am writing a story where the character is part of a search-and-rescue team, and they're using helicopters. Thanks!

Basically, have the plane break into sections and have huge parachutes to easily take the pilots and passengers to safety.

I got this idea after seeing tanks being dropped from airplanes with parachutes. So it could be done.

Ok...the composition of the atmosphere at sea level is 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 1% other gases.
Up to which point will those remain constant?
up to 70,000 feet altitude? or at 50,000 feet because the oxygen will start to convert to ozone from here upwards?

I realize they are there to reduce vortex drag, but if 8 foot winglets are a good thing for a 737 why don't other similar planes have them?

Is this not the greatest fighter/interceptor of all time? Despite its age, it has a phenomenal rate of climb, even beating many of its modern counterparts. Its downfall was its p*ss poor range.

On the USAF Thunderbirds, the 5 is upside down on everything, from the plane to the number on the pilot's flight suit. Is there anythign behind this, besides that the Lead Solo is always fliying inverted? Any 'historical' tradition behind this?

While an airport may have more than one runways, we usually find that the main one runs E-W. Doesn't it affect the pilot's vision while taking off or landing with the sun shining in front?

It has always seemed to me that horns are essential on aircraft while on the ground, yet, no company has them installed. Why not? Collisions could be avoided. Why aren't the insurance companies and pilots insisting on them? If a nearby jet is rolling toward another, there is communication via 3rd party. How stupid is that? Why can't a pilot simply toot a seriously loud horn? Trains, busses, trucks, and boats have em...WHY NOT JETS? They are so expensive, and so fragile.
