Premier seating is generally reserved for frequent flyers at premium levels. These seats usually have extra legroom for their class or other features that make them more desireable.

Premier seating is most common in coach class. By their nature, Business Class and First Class seats are all premier seating and are never assigned to coach-class ticketed passengers unless the passenger is a premium level frequent flyer at the higher levels.
