Can you check the stall warning system by sucking over it with a handkerchief as a filter? Or do you need something more powerful like a portable vacuum? Thanks.

Due to the weight and the wingspan of the aircraft some have raised concerns that this A380 will be allowed to land in only a few airports. Is that true?

It's a 30 minute flight enroute on a CJR, PAX spent 2 hrs in the terminal pre-flight, and will spend 45 minutes in a terminal post flight. Why must they insisit on using the lav inflight while I sit one row ahead? Come on people, is there some great novelty in leaving a dookie on a plane?

ok. so i want to be a pilot. its the greatest feeling in the world! if you know the Blue Angels, there are in San Francisco right now and i was watching them today and just the sound of them flying makes me jump up and down happy and screaming. it gives me the butterflies. =D and i absolutely love it.

well actually, i just wanna fly. its the greatest feeling but i'm beeing torn between chosing what i want and what makes my family (father mainly) happy.
At first i wanted to be a pilot, or even maybe a stewardess. as long as i'm flying. its my passion and i know it will make me happy. but my dad wants me to do something that makes big money and is safe. i.e. medical feild, real estate, business, etc.

so i just want to if there are any nurses that tag along with the commercial airlines. anything like that.

My wife needs to travel 1 way from Manchester to Exeter in the new year. Railfare at £75 is prohibitively expensive, National bus at £44 is about the same as the fuel if I were to drive up & fetch her by car, but she hates travelling by bus. She's been quoted £24 to fly (that's £9 airfare + £13 taxes), but she's worried that flying will cause more pollution than the other methods. How much worse pollution, if any, will flying cause than any other option?
