Take a look at www.airlinepilotcentral.com. This website breaks down the salaries paid by all the different airlines. The different airlines pay different salaries based on whether you are a first officer or captain, and how many years you have worked for the company. Some companies that still have flight engineers, such as UPS and Fed Ex, will also have pay scales for those crew positions.

To be qualified to fly an airline overseas you simply have to have your airline transport pilot's license. If you were hired by an airline that operates overseas then you would get plenty of experience doing so as a first officer before the airline would let you fly overseas as a captain.
