Whan applying for the FAFSA... the tax return is required. However, is it possible for a person to file separately, though still married, and could a student use the parent, with whom they're living with, although the parents not divorced, as their only source of income?

He had $2000 in meals and entertainment. Likewise he paid $1400 in health insurance. Where will he file these expenses. Under which form?

So is Code section 179 a form or a regulation?

Is calculation of mileage and calculation of depreciation on a vehicle the same?

He bought a ford tauras on jan 1st, 2006. He had $500 in repair, He drove 26000, mile for business and had a commute of 1200 miles and also drove 3000 miles for personal use. So where should this be reported? So If I calculate mileage under standard mileage rate, how should it be depreciated?

I would appreciate every answers.

I need to put my business online, and obviously I cannot use my real name as a business name. I will have to file a DBA. I am a statutory employee (Financial Advisor), so I get to write off my business expenses on my personal income tax.

My question is: If I file a DBA, does this mean that I would automatically have to fill out a Schedule C with 0 income on it, because all I need the DBA for is to establish my presence on the web.

Thank you

I am worried about penalties.
What is the best way to file for both?
I had two jobs in 2005 and one job in 2006.
I didn't file in 2005 cause my part time dropped my return drastically.
Is there a way to combined the two for one sum return?
I tried to file for 2006 on Turbo Tax online and encountered a problem that I don't understand. IRS asked me for a 2005 adjusted gross income and that box is empty on my 2006 w-2s.
Employee can not help me.
thank you in advance for all answers.

A family I may work for withholds taxes from their babysitters. How is this done? Is their anyone federally or locally I can call or check with that can verify that these taxes are being received and not hoarded by the family? What is the time frame requirements for the family to send in my taxes? As tax time approaches will I receive a W-? form or a 1099 form? Will this form come from the govt or the family?

My father passed away a few years ago. Since then, I've been paying for my mother's mortgage and property tax. My mom's yearly income is less than the sum of her property related payments.

To obtain a tax credit for the interest on the mortgage and property tax, should I refinance and add my self to the loan? Or can I just do a quick claim deed? I'm looking for the simplest and more affordable method.

Here is the actual question I was asked:

What will be the cost of business taxes, property taxes, school taxes, workers compensation, disability, unemployment taxes, federal taxes, state taxes, social security and Medicare taxes?

I have a hypothetical s-corp based in Minnesota for a school project.

Does anyone know the approximate percentages of these taxes so I can apply them to the net revenue in by budget? I have forecasted 3million in gross revenue.

Also, I was unable to find the exact amount of the Minnesota corporation franchise tax. If you have that, please let me know.

I do not need EXACT percetages, but I would like to be close.

Thank you in advance for any help.
