A larger corporation is hiring me to do a flat fee based consulting project. Will they withhold fed/state taxes or will I have to file that when tax season comes?

I do not own a small business.

Thanks!

Last year I could have had $800 for my tax refund, but because my parents could claim me as a dependent, I only got $350. This is not fair. They are costing me money! They continue to claim me (I'm 22 years old) and they seem not to care if it makes my return be less. Do they get more for claiming me? If they do, this makes them greedy, selfish parents! What about ME? LOL! I'm sick of it being all about THEM all the time. What's in it for me? Sigh...$tupid parents! TIRED!

Hi

If i have a company setup in another country such as israel, and i live and reside in the uk for example, do uk tax laws apply to me as far as vat and corporation tax laws are concerned, and does that also mean my business account has to be a foreign account or can it be a uk based british bank?

The issue is i have a ecommerce based business, and i dont actually deal with goods i deal with services rather online, and i was born in the uk, but my parents reside in the middle east, and we have a company base over there.

So is it feasable and lawful for me to live here and do business via my foreign based business.

warmest regards

Tovia singer

Ok, so i've bought some stuff which i thought was an absolute bargain and i want to sell it on to make a bit of profit. Do i have to pay tax on the profit i make?
This is just a one-off and not a steady business or guaranteed income. Once they're sold then that's it - but i was just wondering if i have to pay tax on this?

Thanks!

I have a court order granting my 100% of the tax benefit for the child, I pay more than half the cost of keeping up a home for the child, yet the child is only with me 25% of the time. The mother cannot claim hoh because she cannot claim the dependant. So can I claim hoh?

I have heard that there are tax advantages, whether federal or state, I do not know, that there is a 15% tax break if the Owner or President of the S-Corp is female. I have a S-Corp, and remember something about "WEW" at the state level, but cannot find it on any of the .gov or .org sites.

Any ideas or links would be greatly appreciated.
