I can't find my tax info from last year, it's here somewhere...but I have no idea where=)
Is there anyway to get a copy from the IRS?

Thanks

Thank you, I actually found it right after I posted this question...of course=)

If the person who prepared it cannot provide a copy you can order a copy form the IRS. You can get a transscript for free in about 10 days or 10 minutes if you have a fax machine. If you need an exact copy of the return as filed the IRS can supply that for a $39 fee. It takes about 6 weeks to get that, however.

I know you state you found it, but if you are needing it to show proof of income, say for a loan, you will actually have to show an IRS copy not your own, because a loan office doesn't know you actually filed the return.
A return transcript provided by IRS is acceptable at loan office, student loan etc.
Call IRS 1-800-829-1040, a return transcript will be provided for free within 10 business days from the date you called.

Yes, you can get a copy or a transcript from the IRS. A transcript is free, and will meet most of the needs you'd have for info. An actual copy costs $39. See http://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc156.html

If you filed with a service such as H&R Block they should be able to provide you with a copy. If not I would suggest taking a look at the IRS website:

www.irs.gov

You should be able to find your answer there and if not contact information so you can inquire directly about it.
