Is that better than a CD. How does a bond work? I just want to know what will be best for him in the long run.

I'm asking because I was told that after you deposit the money into the ATM, it will say that the money is in your balance, but a teller has to verify it. How often do they do this? And how long does it take to actually be verified?

I was also told two seperate things-that on the deposit envelope you need to fill it out by hand, but someone else told me that the ATM will print the information onto the envelope after you deposit it in.

Sorry if any of this sounds lame. I just opened up a checking account and I'm young. =) Thanks in advance.

FDIC insures a depositer up to $100,000 at member locations which display the foregoing information. But does that only cover the Bank corporation, or does it also extend to it's branches. Example, if I deposit $200,000 in two different branches of Chase Manhattan, am I covered at each location?

It has to be legal (no drugs or prostitution), no loans or credit cards, and you don't have any large personal possesions to sell.

All loans won't approve me. I work everyday and all day and I still seem to be short on money. I just need enough to put me back on track. Instead of having 15 bills just 3 a month would be better.

I see all these ads about ebay sellers wanted, but then you have to pay a monthly registration fee for the sites where you get to stuff to sell! What's up with that? Does anyone know of any sites that do NOT charge or you to purchase their items to sell on ebay!?

When I first started working an income of 10,000.00 per year was considered very good wages and enough to rais a family with.

Now that I am retired my income is three times that and I do have to watch the pennies but yes I have enough.

Will you have enough when it is time for you to retire? Are you planing for what you will need?
