I currently owe £61000 in debt on credit cards / loans etc and its costing me a fortune per month. I habe approx £80000 in equity in my home and could easily afford to increase my small mortgage to cover the debts. When mortgage companies look at remortgaging do they take into account that you will be paying all your debt off when looking to see if you can afford the repayments?

My finace and I orginally wanted to save the money for out wedding and pay it outright, but it's looking like that would take two years. We're really NOT wanting to have to wait two years to get married and were curious about the option of taking out a wedding loan. He's really nervous and unsure about this? What do you think, and what do you know about it?

I'm referring to the overwhelming number of people filing for Bankruptcy every year. It's good in a way. It really makes those of us that do pay our bills on time to really stand out.

I have a friend who is 21 whose parents are not alive. Her grandpa who she was raised by and later cared for has recently been put in a nurseing home and is no longer able to control his finances. My friend will inherit all of his saveings after his death. For now a uncle has taken over the finances but seems unwilling to give my friend any money for school or even for expenses she spends on her grandpa. She is struggleing to pay rent and bills. My gut tells me that her family is attempting to control this money. Does anyone have any advice for an easy way to take over the finances and invest the money in some kind of trust fund? Also should she get power of attroney for her Grandpa and how is that gone about?

There are several issues that warrant our attention. The best ways to address these issues is the audio visual mediums. There are so many good films being made. Such films need to be seen by more and more people.
There is one truth however. Agencies like the U.N. sponsor films. A majority of filmmakers can never get these sponsorships to fullfill their desire of making better and larger films without monetary restrictions. Make films of social relevance.

Many a times there are individuals and small organizations eager to fund such audio video initiatives but the irony is that they do not reach out to the filmmakers.

If any one of you knows individuals or organizations that are eager to fund good documentary films of social relevance, let me know the details. It's not just me but a whole lot of others who wish to make such films but do not know about potential funders

I'm a 19-year-old college student and over a period of a few months I've gotten deep into debt. I don't want my parents or anyone else to find out because of what they might do. I don't have anyone to help me or any savings. The only thing that I own is a car. An old '98. Nothing else. I'm thinking of selling it but without a car I can't have a job. And without a job, I can't save up money for a new car. So i'm in a real messy situation. I need help.
